Oatley Red Bear is a family owned and operated child care centre. The centre owners, Laureen and Anthony, have over 13 years experience in the industry. Family ownership brings with it a focus on the attention to detail, the drive to succeed and honour and pride of business ownership plus the responsibility of the day to day running of the business.
Laureen and Anthony believe this personalised service and care is becoming increasing important as the childcare industry moves to large centres owned and operated by publically listed companies or multiply centres owned by one family where children can become a number instead of an individual.
Bigger is not always better and this is especially true when it comes to caring and educating young children.
Our centre is small and intimate and has the warmth and love that children require to grow and thrive.
We have a small dedicated team of childcare professionals who love to come to work and care for the children of our centre. Staff moral is high and turnover extremely low and we understand that staff are the most important ingredient to a successful childcare centre so we take care of their needs just as much as the children’s needs. All great businesses need an experience and dedicated management team and ours have been together for over 10 years.
Since taking ownership of the centre in January 2015 the centre has undergone a total renovation. The office, foyer, playrooms, staff room, children bathroom, kitchen and outdoor playground have all been completely renovated. The layout of the centre has also been changed to ensure the best possible learning environment for the children and modern staff facilities.
We have also replaced the children’s old educational resources and toys with the latest in educational resources and activities. All the playroom furniture has also been replaced.
The centre is a beacon for caring and education and a place that both staff and children want to be.
